A Six-Pack of Free Vintage Biking Illustrations

Six pictures by A.B. Frost (considered one of the great illustrators in the "Golden Age of American Illustration") showing Victorian men, women and children riding their old-fashioned, vintage bikes in various settings and weather conditions. These images were originally published in the March 1898 issue of Scribner's Magazine and are reminiscent of pictures you used to see in newspapers of long ago. :)

"June Afternoon"

"A Bit of Bad Road"

"Coasting"

"Misery"

"The Terror of the Road"

"Snow Riding"

These antique illustrations are free for personal and commercial use. You can download the high-resolution 4" x 6" @ 300 ppi JPEGs here. Please respect my Terms and credit with a link back to this site whenever possible.
